Chapter 75 The next type
"Oh my god! How did you know about it?" Jimmy asked excitement evident on his tattooed face.
Lucas just nodded and asked him to demonstrate this to the others when he went toward the others that were still walking toward their group.
Lucas went in front of one, his blade aimed at the stomach, the familiar location where he was going to kill the damn thing in literally one strike this time.
PUCHI!!

At first, there was no reaction but when some seconds passed and Lucas was still moving around the blade inside the stomach. The zombie started to feel and the emotionless face started to concert into a more disgusting one. It had some blackish liquid oozing out of its mouth that seemed to be solid making Lucas believe that it was coagulated old blood that was still not dry for some reason.
Just like that, minutes turned to a whopping hour, and Lucas kept killing these zombies one after another. He had killed around 20 on his own in this time frame after taking some time off in between to not get exhausted quickly.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om
Licas leveled up once in this time frame going to level 5 and he was already halfway to level 6, this helped him look at things from a different angle.
Everyone else who was fighting other than the support now had gone up a level.
The support was getting a bit less experience than the ones that were actually giving the death blow.
For example, Sarah was blasting the limbs or the head off the upcoming zombies while the frontliners took care of it which made her also get experience points for contributing.
Up to this point, there had been no dangerous point in the whole fight. The floor might have been slippery and wet but when they all started getting the knack for it, things became much more simple.
Lucas went his way toward the hole again smashing as many zombies in his way. When he glanced at the abyssal black hole again, he could feel that the number of humanoid zombies had decreased.
The most surprising thing was his mentality, he was actually disappointed that this happened. All the experience gained in this time frame was making the tables turn quickly and if Lucas kept on defeating many more on his own hogging all the EXP from that creature, he might even reach level 6 quickly.
But things have a certain way of ruining themselves when it comes to expectations. After another half an hour, the zombies ceased to exist except for the corpses on the ground.
Lucas looked in the hole finding that nothing was coming up at all.
"Ohhh... that looks messed up... imagine falling in this thing," Jimmy said with a whistle after he came his way toward the hole for the first time.
"Why would you even think like that, try not to fall, bro." Lucas said and tapped the guy's shoulder with a chuckle.
Jimmy looked at him for a few seconds before shooking his head with a smile. He was still looking at the hole and was alert for anything that would come his way.
But seeing that he had free time, he couldn't help but talk more with Lucas.
"You are not the way we thought you to be... John was right, you are good."
"Meh" Lucas didn't know why he did that but he was satisfied seeing that Jimmy had no negative reaction, he even stayed and talked to him more until yet another few texts came in front of them.
[All the 1st type of undead creatures- Humanoid, are dead out of the 4.]
[The next type will attack in five minutes.]
Lucas had no reaction to the message, he was even a bit excited for them as he knew how to kill the damn things, and even if the type changed, he will know where to attack and have results.
Lucas and Jimmy went their way toward the group and discussed their strategy again. They decided to go with the original one as there were currently no problems with it.
Lucas even liked it as no one had any extra pressure on their shoulders as everything was managed comfortably by John when Lucas was not present.
As they waited for the next wave, Lucas couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation. He knew that the creatures that would invade this time would pose a different challenge compared to the humanoid zombies.
He mentally prepared himself, focusing on his previous experiences and the knowledge he had gained from leveling up.
Minutes passed, and the atmosphere grew tense as the countdown approached zero. The group tightened their grips on their weapons, ready to face the new threat. Suddenly, the silence was shattered as many growls invaded their ear as sounds.
Lucas didn't dare go near the hole and was right at the front of the formation, his sword's blade was bathed with blood that had already dried with time. His sword which had a silver shining hue before now looked ominous with so much blood.
GRAAARR!!
"Oh no..." Lucas shivered after listening to the voice and he started getting flashbacks. Even when the sound was a bit strange, he could still tell what the creature was on the other side.
He didn't have to guess as the first one jumped out of the hole and after being in the air for two seconds, it landed on the ground with the help of its four feet.
"I knew it!" Lucas exclaimed, his voice showed the wary he was excluding right now.
The creature in front of him had the same type of skin that the humanoid zombies had, it was even more muscle filed than before but the type of the creature was changed altogether.
In front of Lucas, there was a wolf like creature that had crazed eyes as if it had rabies when it kept opening and closing its mouth fast and saliva of grey color kept felling from the right side of its yellow teeth-filled mouth.
What do you think?
